Quite a few, very well produced, U.K. nude charity calendars for 2018 — male, female and combined. I will try and share a few more with you.
For my catholic tastes this, the ‘Hitchin Rugby Club Ladies’ calendar, was the most appealing — partly because I am rather partial to rugby. Not a coincidence that in 2015 I also picked another rugby team — the Oxford University Women’s. But, in addition, some great pictures of these rugby playing ladies from Hitchin, and WOW — these ladies are toned.
I am not getting any calendars this year — after doing so for the last few years. The novelty has kind of gone, I think. However, I still like to check what is out there.
The 2016 Al Smith Dinner, a HUGE annual New York city fundraiser for Catholic causes (started in 1945), was ‘one for the ages’ with both presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump, delivering speeches (or ‘roasts’ to be more accurate) — as is a longstanding custom on election years.
This year, i.e., 2017, the keynote speaker was House Speaker, Paul Ryan, a practicing Catholic from Wisconsin, his father of Irish descent. Ryan, as was to be expected, did make some jokes at the expense of Trump. Whether he cleared them with Trump ahead of the dinner has yet to be established. We will have to see if Trump reacts.
But, here is the whole story — so to speak, video and transcript.

The 2017 Nude Charity Calendar
and my 2 copies are in the mail
(and I have an e-mail to that effect).
Last year as you must remember it was the memorable ‘Oxford University Women’s Rugby Team’ Nude Calendar.
This year it is the competing British University — Cambridge.
And it is Unisex and there appears to be more men. I ALREADY ordered a copy for Deanna. See below.
“Blues“: no, NOT the music.
And yes, the British media has already made all the jokes about “blue (orbs)“! Crude.
“Blues” in this context is University ‘colors’ (or what they refer to as ‘Letters’ in the U.S.). It means that the person has represented Cambridge at one of the recognized sports. The term goes back to the “Blue Cap” one got when one was selected to play cricket for the elite Cambridge University cricket first XI.
This is something WE should try and help out.
I just happen to come across it, Tuesday, online. I need to look into it more.
I know there are organizations that send unused spectacles from developed countries to developing countries. I will have to start making some inquiries.
That the government, now that the War is over, cannot help out is somewhat disappointing.
But, I just wanted to bring it to your attention.
IF unlike I, you do not follow U.K. news you might have missed this. Ameteur choir of British National Health Service (NHS) employees wins the 2015 Christmas #1 spot with “Bridge Over You”. All proceeds to CHARITY. Even Bieber pulled for them.
Great story. Very heartwarming. Very British. Shows everybody in a GREAT Light. A lovely way to wrap-up Boxing Day.
So I share it with you. Two videos, both (of course) on YouTube. Click to access.
