Remarkable Act Of Spontaneous Charity In Sri Lanka, By A Norwegian — Feel Good, Amazing Scenery YouTube.
A real, feel good video. You will be GLAD I shared it with you.
As soon as I saw the ‘still’ image I knew it was Sri Lanka! I am good like that. It was over 50-years ago BUT I still recognize the land of my birth.
I watched it. So quintessentially Sri Lankan. The tea shop owner could have been my brother or son. Very Sri Lanka. Loved it.
Wanted to share with you.
Check out the SCENERY. This is Sri Lanka UP COUNTRY.
This Norwegian guy, Harald Baldr, appears to make a very decent living — good enough to be quite generous — making YouTube travel videos. Good for him. Seems like a real nice guy. The world is better (and richer) for folks like him.
He has quite a few YouTube videos shot in Sri Lanka. Check them out ‘Harald Baldr’.

Black Billionaire ‘Robert F. Smith’ Has To Be 2019’s ‘Man Of The Year’ For His ASTOUNDING Generosity To 430 Graduating ‘Kids’!
This is PRETTY ASTOUNDING!
Now that is what you call GENEROSITY.
He Made My Day. He brought tears to my eyes.
What a marvelous human being.
You have to watch this to see the JOY
— especially among those on the stage.
The full 35-minute speech. Worth watching too.
I will confess that prior to this story I had never heard of him and can’t claim that ‘Morehouse’ has ever registered in my mind.
But, as of today, he will be MY MAN. What a man. What generosity. Such a wonderful windfall for the graduates. Yes, some of them had $200,000 loans. I will admit that that is crazy. But, they don’t have to worry about that now.
Extraordinary man. Comes from good, educated lineage. Both parents had Ph.Ds. Impressive.
This is what GOOD NEWS is all about. Really made my day. Watching the videos (above) brought tears to my eyes.
This is what the U.S. is supposed to be.
This is what greatness is all about.
Pope Francis, Once Again Wearing Gold, With The Insane Riches Of The Vatican As A Backdrop, Condemns Wealth.
This irks me no end. Yes, the pope makes a pretense of trying to lead a simple life BUT he invariably surrounds himself with gold. There is nothing in the Bible that says he need gold to give him credibility.
And as for the Vatican’s insane wealth — or for that matter the opulence in which Church prelates continue to live.
I no longer think that Francis is a hypocrite when it come to this matter — i.e., telling us to abandon wealth while the Vatican and the prelates continue to accumulate and glorify.
No, I just think he is TOO STUPID to realize what he is saying and the hypocrisy involved!
This was a GREAT story. It made my day. So good to see that we still have decent, compassionate, charitable folks like he.
Mr. Jay Singh, please take a bow. You have done all of us Asians proud. Good on YOU.
This is from the story:
“He said, ‘I’m hungry. I’m stealing it for myself and my younger brother.’ I said you need food? I’ll give you food. That’s not a problem,” Singh said.
Mr. Singh, modestly, attributed this compassion and charity to ‘Indian culture’. That is true.
But, I have a hunch that it goes beyond that.
I cannot, alas, be 100% sure, but I suspect that Mr. Jay Singh is a sikh — despite the lack of a hat on his head, or a bracelet on his arm.
Jay Singh can very well be a Sikh name.
All ‘Singhs’ are NOT Sikhs, BUT ALL Sikh men are ‘Singhs’. Get that. Having a last name Singh is the norm for a Sikh man.
So, why am I making a big deal that he might be a Sikh.
Sikhs have a deeply ingrained tradition when it comes to charity and giving — especially food to the needy.
I know quite a few Sikhs. Most are AMAZING folk. Generous to a fault.
That bracelet they are supposed to wear bears testament to that. They wear it to remind them that that is the hand with which they do good.
Sikhs, because some wear turbans and have beards, are often mistaken for Muslims. They are not Muslims.
Get to know a Sikh.
This just happens to be a great time to talk about Sikhs. They have a major holiday, ‘Vaisakhi‘, that always coincides with the Sinhala New Year, coming up this Sunday, April 14.

Quite a few, very well produced, U.K. nude charity calendars for 2018 — male, female and combined. I will try and share a few more with you.
For my catholic tastes this, the ‘Hitchin Rugby Club Ladies’ calendar, was the most appealing — partly because I am rather partial to rugby. Not a coincidence that in 2015 I also picked another rugby team — the Oxford University Women’s. But, in addition, some great pictures of these rugby playing ladies from Hitchin, and WOW — these ladies are toned.
I am not getting any calendars this year — after doing so for the last few years. The novelty has kind of gone, I think. However, I still like to check what is out there.
The 2016 Al Smith Dinner, a HUGE annual New York city fundraiser for Catholic causes (started in 1945), was ‘one for the ages’ with both presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump, delivering speeches (or ‘roasts’ to be more accurate) — as is a longstanding custom on election years.
This year, i.e., 2017, the keynote speaker was House Speaker, Paul Ryan, a practicing Catholic from Wisconsin, his father of Irish descent. Ryan, as was to be expected, did make some jokes at the expense of Trump. Whether he cleared them with Trump ahead of the dinner has yet to be established. We will have to see if Trump reacts.
But, here is the whole story — so to speak, video and transcript.
