Yep, this pope actually said that. Capitalism, the “dung of the devil”!

I don’t have to make this stuff up. This pope is the master of putting his flat foot (and yes he is flat footed as you would know IF you read my latest pope book) in his mouth.

Here, check it out in the “New York Time“.

Well, Francis is scheduled to address a joint session of U.S. Congress, on Capitol Hill, in Washington D.C., at 9:20 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2015 during his 6-day, September 22 to 27 visit to the U.S.

John Boehner, a devout Catholic invited him to address Congress, towards the end of 2014. Pope Francis will become the first pope to have done so.

Boehner’s invitation was before the Pope start his all out rampage in 2015 against capitalism and global warming.

Some members of Congress, particularly Republicans, are likely to have issues with what the pope has been saying, of late, about capitalism and global warming. Not sure whether they will want to be ‘seen’ with a man that is bashing an INSTITUTION so near and dear to them. Isn’t calling capitalism the ‘dung of the devil’ what you would expect from an out and out commie? [Talking of which why was Francis taken back when he was presented a Crucifix in the form of a commie hammer and sickle?] So basically Congress will be addressed by a commie! Not sure how that will go down.

This is going to be interesting. Mark the day. Tuesday, September 24, 2015.

I actually, while channel surfing, happened to catch this piece!

Wow. Fox News and I signing the same hymn.

What were the chances.

Fox and I agree.

Redistribute the wealth, by all means —
BUT lets please start with the Vatican’s
untold wealth.

Pay some taxes.

Sell some unneeded art treasures.

Get rid of the Gold Pallium Pins.

Hypocrisy is never attractive — even in a pope.

Is Pope Francis Pitting God Against Al Gore As To Who Invented The Internet?

Where is Al Gore?

I hope he is enjoying this Global Warming induced heat wave we are enjoying.

But, as to the Internet.

I think, and as I have mentioned I was the Principal Consultant at BBN a company that provided much of the initial technology for the Internet, that Al Gore probably does have better claims for having invented the Internet than God — though even Al’s claim is pretty lame.

I am the first to admit, though I have a veritable army of Catholics, including a number of priests, who try to educate me on an ongoing basis, this God stuff confuses the heck out of me. Amazes me the number of times I am told that my name got mentioned in Catholic Mass! I am humbled.

I thought everything was a ‘Gift from God. Have I got that wrong? See, I told you. I don’t get this stuff.

Given that I am somewhat open minded lets kick this around. If the Internet is indeed a ‘Gift from God’ what was God doing when poor Galileo was being put to the sword by the Vatican? Ooops! I just worked it out. God was buy creating the Internet while Galileo was on trial. I can understand. Creating the world, us, the universe and all of that in a week was probably nothing compared to creating the Internet. I doubt whether even God could have created the Internet in a week. I think it took Al Gore at least 4 years.

Francis, though I do like him, has this propensity for saying the most inane things — such as ‘Rugby is a gentle sport’!

Maybe not as much now, BUT what was the Internet’s PREDOMINANT use during its first two decades of existence.

Sex and Porn.

So God, in his infinite wisdom, gifted us the ultimate tool for pursuing porn?

Don’t tell anyone but I even know that Catholic priests use the Internet for checking out porn!
So this is ‘a Gift of God’.

Though he (maybe it a she) totally and utterly confounds me, I like God — just like I like Francis. I have always thought that God has one heck of a sense of humor. This is another example. He gives man, and I use that quite intentionally, ‘The Internet’, the ultimate tool for indulging in porn and self-gratification. Way to GO GOD.

Maybe, I got this wrong. Maybe Al Gore was God’s gift. That would make much more sense. So God wanted us to have the Internet, so we could have easier access to porn, and to make that happen gifted us Al Gore.

God sure works in mysterious ways.

I am 100% with this pope when it comes to
sharing the wealth”.

I am a great believer in helping the poor.

My ONLY issue is that the Pope, himself,
can do a BILLION TIMES MORE than what he is doing!

This pope is ultra cheap. Check it out.

He loves to get on his bully pulpit and go on and on about
‘sharing the wealth’.

FINE.

Lets start with the Vatican.

That he decided to auction of his Hog is a great start, but is not enough.

Sell those 5 gold pallium pins that HE, like his predecessor, are so fond of.
Those 5 pins alone should raise at least a couple of million dollars.

This pope is ALL TALK, little action.

Lead by EXAMPLE.
Not by empty rhetoric.

Warren Buffett and Bill Gates and possibly Ted Turner
have given more to charity than this ‘hot air’ pope.

He has billions of assets at his SOLE disposal.

He doesn’t have to get anybodies approval — other than God’s
and I am sure God wouldn’t have any problems with selling
some Vatican knick knacks to help the poor.

But, then again you would think that an all
powerful God could eradicate poverty.

Aaahhhh!

The stupidity of this all.

Pope Francis Despite Mass Appeal Runs Into Opposition & Continues To Contradict.

The pope’s opposition to the same sex adoption law being considered in Malta despite his famous, populist claim as to ‘who am I to judge’, is but just one example of how this pope will continue to trip up since he is playing a dangerous game: making platitudes to please the masses though he has no intention at all to change Church teaching, stance or doctrine. So while he orally panders to the gay community he stands by the book when it comes to the entrenched Catholic belief on this thorny subject. It is very confusing.

Ditto when it comes to his inflammatory remarks about wealth, capitalism and charity. I noticed that on Christmas Eve and New Years Day he was proudly wearing his five (5) gem studded GOLD pallium pins — each worth a few thousand dollars! Those are supposed to represent the rusted nails used to crucify Jesus. IF this pope was serious about wealth distribution he wouldn’t flaunt these gold pins. He would use cheap metal pins.

Ken Langone, one of the founders of Home Depot, confounds me. I see him often on CNBC. He is one of the most obnoxious (and ugly looking) men I have had the misfortune of having to witness. I typically switch channels because he upsets my stomach. But, I am glad to see that he is mad with the pope. But, to be fair as far as I can see Langone doesn’t seem to like anybody other than himself — but that is probably because he hasn’t looked in a mirror in a long time.

Anyhow, here is a small sampling of the HOT WATER that the pope is running into — and will continue to run into. Click on each to access the original. Enjoy.

Don’t Think Pope Francis Is A Marxist, But He Sure Is Very Cheap For Somebody Who Commands Billions In Tangible Assets.

I like this pope. Plus, unlike ANYBODY else, I cited him, in print, in my 2011The Next Pope 2011, as one of the Top 10 papabili

So, don’t even try and get on your high horse and start accusing me of having a go at the pope etc. Not so. As one of the most prolific papal historians around, all that I am doing is pointing out some hard facts the way they are.

———

As somebody who is a great believer in charity, I am beyond delighted by this pope’s commitment towards the poor and downtrodden. I can’t be happier.

I am overjoyed that he is trying to eschew the extravagant, lavish, ‘dripping gold’ lifestyle adopted by some popes — especially the last one who was an unashamed dandy.

But, as I pointed out in this 100-day report there is a difference between being a pope for the poor and a ‘poor pope’. This pope is not poor. A modern pope, by definition, is not poor.

A pope has absolute, unfettered, unilateral, uncontested control over billions of liquid and tangible assets.

Compared to a pope, a U.S. President is a powerless, pauper.

The pope has no Congress, judicial branch, re-elections or mid-terms to contend with.

He is not answerable to anyone on Earth!

Then I have also made my point about how charity HAS to begin at the Vatican.

So let us just look at a very public recent example.

The devastating typhoon that crippled the Philippines.

The Philippines is overwhelmingly a Roman Catholic country.

So now let us look at some of the foreign aid provided to the Philippines post typhoon:

So how much do you think the Pope agreed to give?

Same paper. Click to access.

Same paper. Click to access.

This is what drives me NUTS about this
Jesuit Pope.

$150,000 in aid … to the Philippines … which considers itself the most Catholic of countries?

This pope is cheap!

Sorry.

Here is a Philippine’s Government Website
that is tracking the foreign aid.

Check the Vatican. Same number.

As I have said so many times till I am brown in the face, this pope can raise a billion dollars in a day by selling 400 random items from around the Vatican.

He claims he is not materialistic.

OK. Show me the proof.

Sell some of the unused, unseen, stacked away in basements, Vatican treasures.

That is all.
