This now was the OTHER eye.
As a recent fan over the last few years of ‘America’s Got Talent‘ (AGT) I have seen Mel B in action as a judge. That really is about the only exposure I have of her. I am not a fan per se and some of the sordid stuff I read about her has me totally confounded as to how she can appear in so many FAMILY-oriented TV shows.
I saw the story about her RIGHT eye in the U.K. “Daily Mail” a few hours ago. That was shocking enough. How do you go blind in one eye — instantaneously. That is scary. My worst nightmare.
Then I read about her being permanently blind in her left eye — because of a botched laser surgery! Ahhh! I had no idea.
Plus, it should be talked about to HIGHLIGHT the potential danger of lasik surgery. They make it out as so easy and failsafe. Then you read this.
You have to wonder how many millions she got in damages — though in my book no amount of money can compensate for the loss of an eye.
Sad, SCARY and it should be a salutary warning to us all.

Deanna saw this on the Web and brought it to my attention. Never heard of them. They are NOT, I repeat NOT, the circus act that performed at the “America’s Got Talent” (AGT) semi-finals 1-hour ‘results’ show, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. That was ‘A Magical Circus Christmas’. They seem MUCH BETTER — but they are not coming to New Hampshire. These folks are.
I could NOT believe my eyes when I saw this on Google News a few minutes ago.
Whoa. WHoa. WHOa. WHOA!
This guy portrayed himself as the Saint’s Saint.
He had Simon Cowell in tears.
And now this?
Please, don’t tell me it was the stress and pressure of the AGT Final.
He claimed that he had been through so much that that should have been but mere bagatelle.
Can he go back to being a pediatric nurse? I hope not.
Can he adopt anymore children? I hope not.
This is serious.
Full confession on my part. Those who know me know that I am a cynic’s cynic. A professional skeptic.
While his story impressed me, there was an element that it was ‘too GOOD to be true’. Somethings that did not gel. His tattoos and piercings were incongruous with the story he told. If he devoted all of his life to all of these kids he was raising he would not be spending money on tattoos and piercings. Think about it.
So, was it drugs? Was it alcohol?
He was Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer. Simon ol’ fruit. Over to YOU.

AGT 2018 Performance at the Final
Encore Performance at the ‘Results’ show
(on Wednesday of this week).
We have been hooked on him since the very first time we saw him on AGT a few months ago.
We have been rooting for him ever since.
I think he will, in a few years, he considered the GREATEST MAGICIAN of all times!
We so wanted him to win, but knew that a magician had never won AGT. Plus, he faced some stiff competition.
So, we were so, so happy that he won.
Can be no doubt or debate that he was a worthy winner. He is something else.
I will go to Las Vegas to see him. No question about that.
If you haven’t seen him, PLEASE, PLEASE watch on YouTube. This is MAGIC. He is MAGIC.

Did YOU see it in this week’s “America’s Got Talent” (AGT) semi-finals 1-hour ‘results’ show, on Wednesday? They were NOT a part of AGT. They were an invited act to serve as a filler to stretch the show to 1-hour. To begin with, Teischan & I, both veterans and connoisseurs of circuses were a bit skeptical since we knew it was JUST a filler, i.e., padding, window-dressing. Then … Bang! Wallop! We were on the edge of our seats. They were GOOD. Actually quite brilliant. We both immediately compared them to what we had seen with ‘Cirque du Soleil’ & ‘Barnum & Bailey‘. We had seen similar at BOTH but these took them to new heights — quite literally!
They are going to be in Lynn, Massachusetts in December. I am going to try and get tickets. That would be fun for Christmas — of course, alongside our yearly ‘Revels’.
IF you have not seen him, PLEASE check out this video.
You will thank me. He is GOOD. Very Good. YouTube has MORE.
He has now made it to the semi-finals and we are happy. We rooted for him. He is beyond good. Extremely gifted.
While his music & talent should speak for itself, from his very first appearance MUCH has been made of his nerve pain and nerve damage (i.e., neuropathy). AGT milks it, given that they love to add color and contours to the performers.
So, I was watching him, intently, the other night and was struck by the extent of his tattoos. He has a lot of tattoos on his arm.
This got me thinking. When I was writing my “Central Pain” book I came to appreciate that nerve damage and nerve pain typically occurs because something ‘major’ triggered it. I got to wondering if all of his tattoos MIGHT HAVE HAD something to do with his never issues. I had never thought of that connection before.
Well I Googled and you can see the results above.
I am BY NO MEANS saying that this might have been a case. It is something to THINK about. Something to look into. IF I was him I would be asking my doctors … ‘could it in any way have been triggered by my tattoos?’
Look into it. Stranger things do happen.
Here is the YouTube video.
Check it out for yourself around minute 4:26.
With Mel B. as one of the judges on “America’s Got Talent” (AGT) there is never a shortage of inanity and ignorance (e.g., ‘blindsight’ for ‘eyesight’), BUT this statement from Tyra Banks has to take the cake. I know she is a supermodel and likes to think of herself as blonde.
Tyra Banks attended ‘Immaculate Heart High School‘ (Los Angeles) — a prestigious CATHOLIC school! Didn’t she learn anything? Archangel Gabriel — Gabe. Did she think that ‘Gabriel’ was a girl’s name. I won’t even bring up Lucifer.
Oh, dear, dear, dear. Such, ignorance.
By the way, the act, ‘Zurcaroh‘, was pretty amazing. Shame her stupid comment put a blot on it.
