Presidential Inauguration Days Should Be Public (Ideally Paid) Holidays.

I had NOT really thought about this till today. We all watched about an hour of it, LIVE, from around 11:30am onwards. So, saw the swearing ins, readings & performances. It was uplifting & inspirational. Made sure that the 14-year old saw it. She is remote-school & she didn’t have any classes around that time. I asked her if the teachers had mentioned about watching the inauguration. NO.

I think it should be a holiday. Only happens every 4-years.

When things have settled down I will write to President Biden & my good senators. Get a feeling that Biden might warm to the idea. I am sure he will feature again, as the President, at the next inaugural. SMILE.
