Happened to notice it on Saturday that some of my paperback books on Amazon had CRAZY prices — like $283.53. WOW!
First thought it was an Amazon glitch.
Also note the publication date: Jan 1, 1656. WOW!
This morning I contacted Amazon. They said these books have been pirated. Somebody trying to sell them & make some money.
BUT, I feel bad for them. Folks don’t buy my books at my INTENTIONALLY LOW PRICES.
So, why would they buy them at these CRAZY prices?
I am flattered.
Yes, I know my books are PRICELESS but this is FUNNY.
Yes, I have to flag them, individually, to Amazon. A Pain!

Frybread & diabetes.
To make it worse, there is a segment, early on, when one of the contestants berates two of her coworkers for having an unhealthy lunch & reminds them of THEIR diabetes! Irony. Her doing the shouting — & her doing the frybread cooking — is borderline obese, if NOT outright obese. She probably has diabetes too.
Made me so SAD.
These POOR people.
They lack education, insight, MONEY & resources to understand & control DIABETES. I know. I have spoken to Navajo about it. I have bought them fruit.
It is a HUGE problem & FRYBREAD does NOT help.
That is what makes me so MAD. The last thing these good, decent people need is Frybread.

My daughter found this buried in one of our many bookshelves. Easy to get lost. It is TINY; 4″x5.4″ & just 30-pages. So, it is incredibly thin.
Cute. My name, written rather shakily, cracks me up. I think this was when I was about 8. That would mean I got this sometime around 1961. Somebody must have got it for I.
I do not recall any other books that were STAMPED with the name of a shop. Strange. Kind of defacing it. Maybe this was their shop copy!
I knew a new Code of Cricket had come out ‘recently’. I had to go check. So, that was 2017.
Wow. Not many since 1788.
I am glad I have this cute little booklet.
