My Fitness Age, Per VO2 Max Measured By A Garmin Fenix 6, Is That Of One 1/2 My Age!
OK, I am SORRY.
But, I am, kind of, chuffed —
you can hate me, but you can’t blame me.

This is per my new Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire, which I wear 24×7.
So, for the record I turned 66 last month, i.e., September. So, this is actually less than 1/2 my age.
Yes, I have been working hard on this for the last 6-months, having had knee-surgery exactly 7-months ago, i.e., March 7, 2019. I was on crutches for 6-weeks. Though I climbed stairs on my crutches to stay semi0fit, I couldn’t really get going until I was able to start walking. Then, I really started to walk.
Walking 7-miles a day was EASY in the Summer. But, it is now getting cold. It was in the low 40s Fahrenheit (F) this morning. So, given I am no longer carrying much fat (I am down to below 150lbs in weight) I have to dress warm. Plus, I am old. So, these were taken today, and a glimpse of what I get to walk through. I do not complain.
This, i.e., a fitness age of 46, was from 3 months ago.
So, I have come a long way.
I had my quadriceps tendon repair surgery,
at ‘Frisbie Memorial Hospital‘ —
performed by Dr. Charles Blitzer
of ‘Seacoast Orthopedics‘
on Thursday, March 7, 2019.
There was no pain to talk about
— throughout, from surgery to now.

It has been a few weeks since she first put up the lights and this year, for the first time really, we have competition! That will not do. So, I got her more lights. So, she put those up. we are not done jet. The coup de grâce is yet to come — I think. I have some ideas and Amazon has the goods. SMILE.
