This Day 24-Years Ago, March 22, 1993, Intel Started Shipping The Very First Pentium Chip, The 80586.

Wow. 24-years ago.

These were the chips that powered the ‘dot.com’ era.

This first chip, which did have a 64-bit data path, ran at 60Mhz and was rated at 100+ MIPS.
