adelaidepinkIt has, as was alas inevitable, come to pass — Test Cricket crossed with ODI. Yes the players will still wear white (albeit with logos) but the Tests will be day/night affairs, the night portion under lights and a pink ball. The pink ball will be better visible underlights and unlike the white ball will permit players to wear white. That is it. Players wearing white playing under lights — during the night portion of the 5 day Tests. Hence the pink ball.

The first day/night Test will be between Australia and New Zealand, at the Adelaide Oval, starting November 27, 2015.
