2nd Plane Crash On Alton Bay (N.H.) Ice Airport Within Three Days: One On Saturday, One Today (3/10/2014).
by Anura Guruge
It is possible that the FAA might start taking some notice.
I was right in terms of above supposition.
Heard on NHPR this afternoon [i.e., Tuesday, March 11], at 1pm,
that the FAA has closed the Alton Ice Airport,
at least for the time being, following these two accidents.
Currently, according to the report, the ice thickness in Alton Bay is 20″.
