The 4th in our Story Land ‘Bamboo Chutes’ collection. We have them stuck up on the downstairs wall. Let us see how the kids have grown over the years. Also have one of Devanee of a tractor. I think that was 2003. I don’t think they do that picture shoot anymore. I think this is the ONLY ‘shoot’ they do, which is rather strange.

As I stated in this post I was truly stunned to see bona fide red foliage in a tree on August 5, 2013. That to me was way too early.
Toady we went to ‘Story Land‘ in Glen, New Hampshire, just north of North Conway. That is prime fall foliage country. I kept a weather eye open.
Didn’t see any fall foliage per se until we were in ‘Story Land’. The above two pictures were trees at Story Land. Unmistakable, incontrovertible evidence that the leaves are changing color. In the case of the tree that was already mainly orange it was shedding leaves.
I think this is early.
So this could be quite a year for fall foliage given that August has been unusually chilly. I will keep my eyes open. I am in foliage country. I am surrounded by trees,
So stay tuned.
